Here's what's cooking February 17-21, 2014

To order, please use the Contact tab (or email butterfieldgourmet@gmail.com) and tell me which items you would like and what day you would like to pick up at my Preston Commons location.  If you order by 10 am, your items can be ready for you by 4 pm the following day.
Pick up is from 4-6 pm, Tuesday through Thursday.

Salad: Ruth’s Creamy Caesar – no anchovies for this girl but lots of parmigiano-reggiano and homemade garlicky croutons! Tell me if you want me to toss it for you! $10 serves 2-4

Soup/chili: White Bean & Turkey Chili – my son’s fave chili is warm and filling and is not spicy. Includes cornbread croutons and we recommend sour cream and shredded cheddar toppings. $15/quart

Quiche: Traditional Quiche Lorraine – bacon and gruyere creamy goodness. $20/pie serves 4-6

Pot Pie: Green Chile Stew – savory beef and spicy green chile (or not? its different with every batch) make a surprisingly tasty and addictive filling for a flaky crusted pie. $30/pie serves 4-6

Side: Mac & Cheese – this is my old school version. It’s cheesy. It’s baked. It’s so good! $12 serves 2-4

Entree: Chicken Cacciatore – I have served this recipe to my family for 26 years. Simmered mushrooms, peppers, onions and chicken in a rich tomato sauce is really hard to beat. I’ll provide the pasta and you pick up some crusty bread and a salad (see caesar above!) for a perfect meal. $30 serves 4-6

Dessert:  Lemon Pound Cake – I make these a lot in mini-bundt form.  This will be a loaf cake covered in a lemon glaze.  So bright and delicious.  $15/cake
