Have dinner in -- without turning on your stove! Menu for September 8-12, 2014

I am already feeling the pressures of Fall schedules and holiday planning — how is that possible?! I hope that you can sit down and enjoy a meal with friends or loved ones during this hectic time.
To order, please use the Contact tab (or email butterfieldgourmet@gmail.com) and state which items you would like and what day you would like to pick up at the Preston Commons location. Please order by noon for pickup the following day. Pick up is from 4-6 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (Friday by appointment) at 8115 Preston Rd, Suite 140, inside the Cafe Gourmet on the Go shop.

Soup:  Touchdown Chili – Also known as Homerun Chili, this two-beef, two-bean chili is super savory and has been known to charm 2-year olds. I throw in a couple bags of fritos and you add sour cream, shredded cheese and cilantro!  $20/quart GF

Pot Pie: All of my pot pies are made with my flaky pie crust and the best ingredients. Homestyle Chicken is my tried and true standard – white chicken breast meat in a creamy gravy with green peas. $25/pie.

Quiche: Spinach and Gruyere - love, love, love spinach, eggs and cheese! $20/pie. Veg.

Entree: Lemon Chicken Piccata with pasta - lightly breaded chicken breasts in a lemon butter sauce is served over pasta. This dish pleases everyone at the table. $30 serves 4-6. GF avail, add’l cost applies.

Dessert: Mississippi Mudcake - Chocolate sheet cake topped with toasted marshmallows, chocolate frosting and toasted pecans – absolutely decadent!  $15/8×8 cake
